Sand in your shoes is heavy.

Walking down the beach Benji discovered that he had two friends; his shoes that kept his feet from getting burned and his Frisbee that kept him from being board while the rest of his group lay around in the sun slowly dying a beautiful brown skinned death. The people he thought were his friends had just eaten his peanut butter sandwich and finished off his mango juice. Now he was hungry thirsty and he had to go to the bathroom.
All Benji's friends would pretend that they were excited for a swim in the frigid ocean when they had to go to the bathroom, but Benji would rather not get his shoes wet so he wandered off in search of relief. Along the way he became more an more acquainted with his familiar and faithful friends. His Frisbee would fly strait and true in whatever direction that he wanted it to go and his ever so comfortable shoes were alway there to protect his tender souls. After twenty-seven Frisbee throw lengths Benji discovered that his shoes were putting on some extra weight and getting kind of squishy in the middle. He had complete sympathy because this had happened to him only a few short years ago, however it was beginning to hinder his way to the the WC. After thirty two Frisbee throw length his was finished, it was time to move and his shoes just had to go. So, Benji took off his friendly shoes and placed them carefully under a rock so that he could find them on his return. As he began to run on the hot sand he heard a cry from behind that was so pitiful he just had to see what it was. The noise was a sort of squeak. this squeak issued forth from the inside of his shoes as if asking why they had been abandoned when they were his closest friend. Touched deeply Benji decided since his shoes had never let him down he wasn't going to let them down.
Then the inevitable happened. Benji's Frisbee caught a good breeze and flew right over the ocean. It hovered for a moment and then fell into the waves just one foot and three inches from the shore. Benji looked in dismay; how could he fetch the drowning Frisbee without drenching his best friend shoes; and on top of all this he was suffering from acute bladder expansion trauma! His shoes smiled up at him as if to say, "it's okay you came back for me so I can handle the water." Benji decided that he must act so he ran plunging into the surf grasping for the Frisbee.
The Frisbee acted quickly, it caught a new wave and headed out toward deeper water. It stayed just out of Benji's reach. In the meantime Benji's shoes filled up with watter and started to drag him down. Before he knew it the waves had completely submersed him. his bladder gave way leaving a warm blanket around his legs until it was washed away by the frigid waves.
Later that day a hot footed bored boy found some nice comfortable shoes to protect his feet and a Frisbee to play with. Not seeing a soul in sight he put on the shoes and picked up the Frisbee. They all became fast friends.
